Scope of Service Experience
Brian has worked with the MLG retail team for over 12 years. Having recently become a Principal, he oversees the day-to-day brokerage operations of the retail properties group and contributes his knowledge of the real estate market to all aspects of the company. He focuses on identifying land for shopping center development, retail leasing and sales, and tenant representation. Since the change in the global real estate market in 2008, Brian has added to his focus by working with regional and national banks selling REO properties and consulting with them on what to do with their retail assets.
Background & Experience
Brian joined NAI MLG Commercial in 2000 and became a retail sales associate in 2001. As the outstanding new sales associate in 2002, Brian was awarded NAI MLG Commercial’s “Rookie of the Year” award. In 2006 Brian was promoted to Vice President and in 2007 promoted to Senior Vice President of the retail team. He became a Principal of NAI MLG Commercial in 2011.
Brian graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Brian was president of the Finance Association and founder of the Investment Club while attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Professional Associations & Designations
Brian is a licensed commercial real estate sales associate. He is a member of the Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin (CARW), NAI, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Retail Council of the NAI Board. He is currently a candidate as a Certified Commercial Investment Broker (CCIM) as he completes the remaining courses.
